This eight-story Ritz-Carlton resort features six dining and beverage options: Spago, a fine-dining restaurant; the Great Room, and Mountainside Terrace, which offer light fare; the Buffalo Bar, an après-ski hot spot with its own evening menu; and 7, where snacks and meals-to-go are available throughout the day.
The Beaver Creek resort also offers four tennis courts and a 21,000-square-foot spa and fitness center. Spa and fitness center amenities include 19 treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room, hot and cold plunge pools, and a coed rock grotto relaxation room with a “lazy river” spa tub. The cardiovascular room offers views of Beaver Creek Mountain, and the aerobics room features views of Vail Valley. Classes include yoga, spinning, and aerobics. There are three outdoor spa tubs and an outdoor pool. (Fees may apply.)
Other on-site activities at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch include guided nature hikes and “Loan-a-Lab” walks with Bachelor, the resort’s resident Labrador retriever. Young guests, age 5–12, can participate in the Ritz Kids program, which offers a variety of supervised half- or full-day activities. Among them: nature hikes, swimming and pool games, arts and crafts, field trips to local parks and playgrounds, marshmallow roasting at the fire pit, and visits from Bachelor the dog. The Ski Nanny service also is available for children age 5–12. Ski nannies collect participating children from their guestrooms and escort them through the ski rental and school sign-up process in the morning. Then they ensure that young guests board the ski school bus that takes them to nearby Beaver Creek Village for group lessons. Afterward, nannies escort their charges to Ritz Kids for après-ski theater, where adults can pick up their children. (Fees apply.)
Guests also enjoy preferred tee times at the Red Sky Golf Club, which is 10 miles west and features two 18-hole championship courses—one designed by Greg Norman and one designed by Tom Fazio.

The eight-story The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch offers 180 guestrooms, all accessed through humidity-controlled corridors. Decor includes wood and leather furnishings, pinecone and foliage accents (such as twig-like drawer handles), and sculpted lamps that depict wildlife such as elk. Ninety percent of rooms offer panoramic views of Beaver Creek Mountain or the Eagle River Valley.
Other highlights include Frette Italian linens, terry-cloth bathrobes, goose-down and non-allergic foam pillows, marble bathrooms with separate tubs and showers, and three phones (including one cordless).
